As a Senior Mechanical Engineer at MicroDri, you will play a crucial role in developing our technology and product. You will be responsible for the mechanical and system engineering aspects, working closely with our internal team as well as external partners and experts from various industries. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate with specialists in microwave technology, automation, materials science, and industrial production, ensuring that our solution meets the highest standards of efficiency, reliability, and scalability.

You will be a key player in scaling our technology from prototype to industrial implementation, with significant opportunities to shape both your role and the company’s future.

· Design, develop, and optimize mechanical systems for microwave-based drying, focusing on performance, durability, and industrial applicability.

· Ensure compliance with industrial requirements, safety regulations, and quality standards. Coordinate and oversee work related to mechanical design, prototyping, and construction, ensuring smooth integration with other system components.

· Conduct technical analyses, validation, and propose improvements to enhance efficiency and reliability.

· Collaborate with the team to align mechanical development with the company's broader technical roadmap and innovation goals.

· Work closely with external partners, suppliers, and consultants involved in mechanical and technology development.

· Evaluate and analyze test results, providing data-driven recommendations for improvements.

· Support the implementation of development plans to drive industrial scaling and commercialization.

We are looking for someone with solid experience in mechanical engineering and product development. You are used to working on complex projects and have strong problem-solving skills. You are analytical, self-driven, and passionate about developing innovative solutions.

· Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.

· 6+ years of experience in mechanical design, product development, or system engineering.

· Experience working with industrial products, machinery, or automation solutions.

· Experience collaborating with external partners, suppliers, and consultants.

· Comfortable working in an iterative development process, from concept to product.

· Proficient in CAD and simulation tools.

· Fluent in English (Swedish is a plus).
